We are looking for local volunteers with the following skills:
Librarian
Requirements
- Great organisation skills
Basic duties include
- Organising, cataloguing and storing items within the library of things
- Advise on best practice to run a library and reservation system
- Checking in/out items and ensuring all parts are returned
Member of PMG
Requirements
- A commitment to the Buy Nowt LS6 LOT and its values
- An ability to work as part of a team
- The vision to take a long-term view and plan for the future of the library
- A strong connection to LS6
- Availability to attend monthly, weekday evening Project Management Group meetings plus additional tasks outside of meetings
DIY Technician
Requirements
- Handy with a screwdriver and a DIY enthusiast
Basic duties include
- Providing basic maintenance and repair on library items
- Acquiring parts via donation or purchase to support repairs
- Liaising with local repair workshops to assist with repair
