When you lend an item to Buy Nowt LS6 Library of Things you remain the owner (unless or until you inform us otherwise). You must tell us about any defect of which you are aware, so that we can warn anyone using the item.
- Buy Nowt LS6 Library of Things will take reasonable care of the items and will only allow them to be used under our Borrower's Agreement and Policy for the use of items. There is a risk that items may get damaged or broken — Buy Nowt LS6 Library of Things cannot guarantee that they will be returned in the same state. The organisation will be responsible for any deliberate misdeeds of volunteers or employees, but otherwise accepts no responsibility or liability for item condition.
- You may withdraw items during opening hours, but Buy Nowt LS6 Library of Things cannot guarantee any item will be available immediately. Please contact us with advance notice so items can be set aside or returned. You may borrow items back at any time at no charge. If an item is reserved, you have priority to retrieve it before the reservation, though compromise arrangements may be possible.
- Items shall be returned only to the lender listed, unless the lender provides written notice to Buy Nowt LS6 Library of Things otherwise.
- If the organisation no longer requires items or ceases operations, we will attempt to contact you using the provided contact details. If your contact information changes, you must notify us. If we have been unable to contact you after one month you irrevocably appoint us as your agent to store or dispose of any item received from you.
